Spinning Workshops

We have now run many successful spinning workshops at Amber Valley Alpacas, Heage, Derbyshire.

We keep numbers small so that everyone gets plenty of individual attention and people always seem to go away happy, having learnt new skills, made new friends and been well fed on Ingrid's delicious cooking!

Our next workshop will be held on Saturday 2nd April, with more dates to be arranged in the future.

Any enquiries about further workshops welcome. We are hoping to cover other subjects such as felting and dyeing in the summer months, details to be published here soon!

Hand Spinning Workshops

Dates for our next Spinning Workshops at Amber Valley Alpacas have been arranged, they are ;

Wednesday 10th November 2010

Tuesday 7th December 2010

Thursday 6th January 2011

Sunday 23rd January 2011.

Cost of workshop is £37, a Gift Voucher can be purchased for Birthdays and Xmas.
A deposit of £20 per person is required which will be returned if the workshop does not go ahead.

The workshop runs from 10am - 4pm, all equipment and materials provided, but if you have your own wheel or fibre please feel free to bring them along.

Light cooked lunch will be provided, vegetarian alternatives are available, please let us know beforehand of your preference.

Spinning and Felting Workshops, Derbyshire

We are currently taking bookings for 1 day spinning and felting workshops, early in 2010 at Amber Valley Alapacas, Heage, Derbyshire. Bookings can be made through myself or Ingrid at Amber Valley Alpacas.

Dates so far are 24th January, 28th February and 28th March 2010 from 10am - 4pm

Cost of workshop will be £35 and will include light refreshments. A deposit of £20 per person is required which will be returned if the course does not go ahead.
